Cap and Gown Distribution
Syracuse University Students and ESF Students

Dates:	Monday, May 7 - Friday, May 11
Time:	9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Location:	University Bookstore in the Schine Student Center
Date:	Saturday, May 12
Time:	8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Special Distribtion Days for the College of Environmental Science and Forestry Students

Location:	Bray Hall first-floor rotunda
Dates:	Wednesday, May 2 and Thursday, May 3
Time:	11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Distribution Process
Students do not need to pre-order caps and gowns.

Bring your SU or ESF ID to the distribution site of your choice. (Note the different dates and locations for SU and ESF distribution.)
Be measured for cap and gown.
Receive your cap and gown. Undergraduates receive free caps and gowns. Advanced degree recipients are charged either a rental fee or purchase cost.

Caps and Gown
Official, custom-designed gowns are available at no charge for Syracuse University and College of Environmental Science and Forestry Bachelor candidates. Students may keep their caps and gowns. The gown fabric is made from recycled material using post-consumer plastics. The SU gown is blue with orange piping and features the SU seal on the front. The ESF gown is green with white piping and features the ESF seal on the front.

Regalia - Masters Cap and Gown
Official master cap, gown and hood made from recycled materials is available for purchase. It is yours to keep. Master's candidates eligible to march can purchase their cap, gown and hood online.

Regalia - Doctoral Cap and Gown
Official custom-designed gowns are available for rental or purchase:

Rental
Doctoral candidates eligible to march can rent the appropriate cap, gown and hood online. Rented regalia is to be returned to the Schine Student Center Bookstore by 4:00pm Commencement Sunday.
Purchase
We offer Syracuse University's valedictory regalia as well as regalia from over 550 institutions of higher education. If you are a PhD candidate and/or faculty member and would like to purchase custom regalia, please download the order form and fax your order to 315-443-1683.
Please allow six to eight weeks for delivery. If you have any questions regarding custom regalia, please call us at 315-443-9900, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for personal assistance.

Special Offer for Distant Learners
If you are eligible to march, but will not be on campus the week of cap and gown distribution, you can order your gown online by Wednesday, May 9, and have your regalia shipped to your home.
